A one-person digital agency

Digital shouldn’t
feel this hard.

I’m Tommy, a designer in Harderwijk. I help businesses across the Netherlands with clear websites, usable software, and practical AI.

It all starts with a little clarity

Let’s find a
clearer way forward.

Start with what’s getting in the way.
Then we can make the next step easier.

01 Websites

A website that
speaks human.

Good at what you do. A website that doesn’t quite show it?

Let’s make what you offer easy to understand, easy to find, and easy to say yes to. Clear words. Thoughtful design. A website you’ll want to show people.

Less “where do I click?”

02 Software UX

Less friction.
More “got it.”

Your software works. But using it feels like work, too.

I untangle confusing screens and inconsistent flows. So your customers can get on with what they came to do, without a support ticket along the way.

Make the next step obvious.

03 Practical AI

AI with a point.
Imagine that.

Plenty of AI talk. Still wondering what it means for you?

We start with your day-to-day work, not the latest shiny tool. I help you find where AI is useful, understand the trade-offs, and put it to work.

A little less busywork.

A plan. Some folds.
And we’re off.

No disappearing acts. No big reveal you didn’t ask for.
Just you and me, figuring it out together.

01Discover.

First, we talk. What’s working? What’s getting in the way? We find the real problem before reaching for a solution.

Start with the right questions.

02Fold.

I turn what we’ve learned into something you can see and try. You look over my shoulder. We shape it together until it clicks.

A little back and forth.

03Launch.

We build, test, and send it out into the world. Then I show you the ropes, so you feel comfortable taking it from here.

Ready for the real world.

Tommy, the designer behind Paper Plane, smiling in a cream jacket and round glasses.

One person.
On your side.

Hi, I’m Tommy. Designer, curious problem-solver, and the person you’ll actually talk to.

By day, I design software for a large company. Paper Plane is where I bring that experience to your business, with the care and personal attention of a one-person agency.

I like asking why. I like making complicated things feel obvious. And I think the best work starts with an honest conversation. Preferably over coffee.

More about me

A few things
you might be wondering.

Is it really just you?

Yep. You talk directly to the person doing the thinking and designing. For complex development, I work with developers I trust. I’ll always be clear about who’s involved.

What does a project cost?

It depends on what we’re solving. We start with a free discovery call, then I put together a clear proposal. You’ll know what’s included and what it costs before we begin.

Can I make changes afterwards?

Yes. For website projects, we agree on how you want to manage your content and build that into the handover. I’ll show you how it works, so small updates don’t have to become a whole project.

Have something in mind?
Let’s talk.

Tell me what’s on your mind.
We’ll figure out the next step together.
